Peradon
In 1994 the lease expired on the Andover factory and it was then possible
to invest in a single factory site in Liverpool. The 'Fletcher' part of the name was dropped and so the operation reverted to just 'Peradon'.
With the move the product lines were improved and expanded.We were also appointed an official distributor by Strachan of 'West of England' cloth and Saluc 'Aramith' Snooker, Pool and Billiard balls.
The reputation of cues manufactured by Peradon has been acknowledged since the early days by such notable players as Walter Lindrum and Joe Davis, and continues to the present day. It is probably true that most, if not all, of top UK players have used a Peradon made cue. A board in the production directors office shows all the butt plates from Peradon cues endorsed over the years and is a veritable 'who's who' of Billiards and Snooker.
Since 1885 Peradon's has been at the forefront of innovation in cue design and manufacture. In 2002 they again showed the lead by introducing a 'bespoke' cue making service over the internet with 'CueWizard©'. This service is possible due to significant timber stocks, enabling part prepared shafts to be left to settle and held in stock. We also hold a full range of exotic timbers for butts and splices.
