Note: As TX ferrules do not reduce in size during the tipping process it is vital that exactly the right size ferrule is fitted to your cue, these ferrules will not sand down like softer brass ones. For this reason, the ferrules are supplied in one tenth of a millimetre increments, as listed below. While the thinner wall maximises performance it should also be noted that if you are replacing a thicker wall ferrule for any thinner wall ferrule it may be necessary to reduce the shaft length slightly (to achieve the diameter of shaft timber required to correctly fit inside the ferrule). Fitting by experienced ferrule fitters is recommended.
